Description

The Sekar is an exquisite tassel handcrafted in Bali, made from Olon shell, cotton, and wooden bead rope. Our tassel collection is specifically designed for our bed canopies.

Originally from Papua New Guinea, this decoration is used in traditional ceremonies. The Dayak people of Kalimantan utilized these shells in their family rituals.

The Sekar is available in a set of 2.

We recommend using 1 set for a ‘2-door bed canopy’ and 2 sets for a ‘4-door bed canopy.’

Each panel or door can be secured with 1 tassel. For the ‘4-door version,’ which features 4 panels/doors, 2 sets are necessary.

Materials & Details

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by artisans, which may result in slight variations in shape, size, and color compared to the images shown.

This uniqueness is part of their charm, as no two items are exactly the same.

Care

All of our products are crafted exclusively from natural materials. When cleaning, please use only lukewarm water and gently wipe the item without submerging it.
